First Time I Ever Actually Prayed ... For a Business ...

I remember the 1st time I ever actually prayed … for a Business.

These Buddies of mine were TOAST! Chapter 11? That was already a few pages behind them. All we had left to do … was pray.

So we did!

I showed up at their office to honor my Christian brothers as they faced what looked like the end. Great Business guys. Believers. Huge callings. Gargantuan God-dreams! (James 4:3 … ✅) But their Sales were … MIA.

And without Sales, you don’t really have a Business, do ya?

(SIDEBAR: Ask yourself — Why would Jesus NOT be interested in your Sales? Just asking ...)

We launched into prayer.

Then suddenly — as I prayed the word “Outreach” — something supernatural happened. A sign!

(Maybe I’ll tell you what it was some other time …)

We all saw it. Felt it. Crystal clear. Holy Spirit was putting his finger on their Outreach.

“Now what, Lord?”

Seizing that signal, I dove head-1st into the nitty-gritty of their Outreach strategy -- in prayer!

It was like Heaven came down in that CEO’s office. Like God's Glory filled the room. (Still gives me chills just remembering it!)

Prayers done, I left. And then came the enemy’s whisper-campaign:

““Mapson, you prayed for a Business!  Ha!  What a dumb thing to do!” the enemy hissed.

CONFESSION:  I felt embarrassed. Ill-equipped. Off-the-wall for bringing Business details before the Lord.

It took me 6 months to follow up. Gulp.

Finally called: 

“Dave … how’s Biz?” (I bet he heard the grimace in my voice.)

“Oh man — we are absolutely killing it!  Sales are through the roof!”

He started listing off the Miracles:

• $100,000 in elite Consulting from a local Incubator
• Fully vetted: Market, Product, Plan, Team
• 5 big Quotations, all at 90% probability to close
• 6 new Clients signed at $5K/mo. — already doing $30K/mo.!

“Mapson, we’ve never been in better shape! Thanks again for praying. And thank you, Jesus!”

Pause. Pull self off floor. Wha … ? 😳

So, it was real then ...

The honoring. The prayer. The detailed prayer focus on their “Outreach.” And then? Wild increase!

All glory to God!

Even though I was nervous (and attacked by the enemy), Jesus showed up — and showed OFF!

You see? Jesus wants in. To your Business! For his Kingdom purposes.

That was my first official Business prayer. Today? Over 300 documented Case Studies of using "Business S. M. A. R. T. T. Prayer" to unblock & bring almost $911 M in increase! 

Do not get me wrong — Jesus is not your Genie. We don’t control Him.  Yet somehow, we are COMMANDED to ask.

I will keep saying it: “This ain’t about you & your next yacht! This. Is. Kingdom.”
